Alex McClure

Assistant Baseball Coach

Alex comes to Australia after a four-year professional baseball career with the Kansas City Royals and the Miami Marlins reaching the Double A level in both organizations. Alex was selected for the Arizona Fall League with the Surprise Saguaros and earned the ‘Mike Sweeney Award’ in 2013, which is given to the player who best represents the Kansas City Royals organization on and off the field. He is currently enrolled at Hillsong Leadership College in Baulkham Hills, NSW. Alex was born into a baseball family. His dad is the head baseball coach at Division 1 Austin Peavy State University in Clarksville, TN, USA. Alex most recently coached at Rossview High School in Tennessee and has been doing individual lessons and baseball camps for over 8 years. Alex specializes in hitting and infield play, but also can work with pitchers, catchers, and outfielders.
